REGISTRATION FOR SOUTHSIDE'S 2025 FALL BALL SEASON
Please plan to join the Southside Baseball Community this Fall to play ball at Avondale Park! Southside welcomes players of all levels of experience and works to develop character and discipline, in addition to excellent baseball skills. Please volunteer by signing up to be a coach or to help out in other ways.
Fall Ball Divisions
Southside's fall baseball program has the following divisions (based on the player's age on April 30, 2026):
Ages 5-6 - 6U Coach Pitch
Ages 7-8 - 8U Coach/Machine Pitch
Ages 9-10 - 10U Machine/Player Pitch
Ages 11-12 - 12U Player Pitch
Ages 13-14 - 14U Player Pitch
All games for the 6U, 8U, and 10U Divisions will be scheduled for Sunday afternoons at Avondale Park; the 12U and 14U Divisions may have additional games on weeknights, including games at other ballparks.
Registration Dates
Registration for all age divisions will open on July 12 and close on August 15. Early Bird registration (with a $25 discount) runs from July 12 through August 1. Spots are limited, and late registrations will not be permitted absent special permission from the Commissioner, so please don't wait!
Registration Fees
The fee for each player in the 6U and 8U Divisions is $140. The fee for players in the 10U, 12U, and 14U Divisions is $165. This fee covers a uniform for each player, team equipment, and fields and umpires for six regular season games. There is an Early Bird discount for registrations completed before August 1, 2025, and a $25 discount is also given to additional siblings.
Scholarship applications are available upon request. We are able to to offer need-based scholarships thanks to the generosity of many of our families and supporters who make donations to assist others and our efforts to provide youth sports to ALL kids who want to play. Please consider making a donation when you register!
All registration fees or scholarship applications must be received by August 15 for your player to be placed on a team.
Other Dates
Practices begin the week of August 25, 2025. Practice times are not determined until teams are formed.
Games begin September 14, 2025, and the season ends on November 2.
Registration Instructions
Returning Southside Players: log into your account by clicking the "log in" button at the top right of the page.
New to Southside Ball: you must first create an account on this website.
To create a new account click the 'Register' tab on the top right-hand corner of the page (in red). Follow the directions and enter the requested information for yourself and each player. The registration process only has to be completed once. Once you have an account, you will be able to add other participating children and additional parent volunteers under that one profile.
Once you are logged in and your account is set up to include the information for each child who will be playing, you can then register the child for the Season by clicking the "available programs" button next to the child's name. Then, follow the directions and complete the forms. You will submit payment of the registration fee as you complete it.
Team Divisions by Age Groups
The Player's age on April 30th, 2026* (next spring) determines which age group the Player will be in:
- 6U Coach Pitch - Players born between May 1, 2019 and April 30, 2021
- 8U Coach/Machine Pitch - 7-8 - Players born between May 1, 2017 and April 30, 2019
- 10U Player/Machine Pitch 9-10 - Players born between May 1, 2015 and April 30, 2017
- 12U Player Pitch 11-12 - Players born between May 1, 2013 and April 30, 2015
- 14U Player Pitch 13-14 - Players born between November 1, 2010* and April 30, 2013
*For this Fall Ball season only, players who will not turn 15 before November 1, 2025 are eligible to play in our 13-14 Division.We look forward to seeing you and your players on the fields!
