REGISTRATION FOR SOUTHSIDE'S 2024 SPRING BALL SEASON
Please plan to join the Southside Baseball Community this Fall to play ball at Avondale Park (registration instructions are below)! We are about having fun and coming together as a community. As a recreational league, players of any skill level are welcomed, and parent volunteers make it all happen. Please volunteer by signing up to be a coach or to help out in other ways.
Registration Dates
Registration is open for all age divisions from December 5, 2023 until February 3, 2024. Early Bird registration runs from December 5 - January 6, and qualifies for a $25 discount off the enrollment fee.
Registration Fees
The registration fee for each Baseball Player for 6U - 14U is $175.
A $20 discount is also given to additional siblings.
Scholarship applications are available upon request. We are able to to offer need-based scholarships thanks to the generosity of many of our families and supporters who make donations to assist others and our efforts to provide youth sports to ALL kids who want to play. Please consider making a donation when you register!
All registration fees or scholarship applications must be received by February 3 for your player to be placed on a team.
Other Dates
Practices begin the week of February 5, 2024. Practice times are not determined until teams are formed.
Games begin March 9, 2024, and the regular season ends on May 4. All games will be played at Avondale Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Saturdays.
Registration Instructions
Returning Southside Players: log into your account by clicking the "log in" button at the top right of the page.
New to Southside Ball: you must first create an account on this website.
To create a new account click the 'Register' tab on the top right-hand corner of the page (in red). Follow the directions and enter the requested information for yourself and each player. The registration process only has to be completed once. Once you have an account, you will be able to add other participating children and additional parent volunteers under that one profile.
Once you are logged in and your account is set up to include the information for each child who will be playing, you can then register the child for the Season by clicking the "available programs" button next to the child's name. Then, follow the directions and complete the forms. You will submit payment of the registration fee as you complete it.
Registration includes: Jersey and Cap, organized practice and games.
Team Divisions by Age Groups
The Player's age on April 30th, 2024 determines which age group the Player will be in:
- Tee Ball - 4-5
- 6U Coach Pitch - 5-6
- 8U Coach Pitch - 7-8
- 10U Player Pitch 9-10
- 12U Player Pitch 11-12
- 14U Player Pitch 13-14
